PREAMBLE

"We, the Students of Government Medical College Bundi, solemnly pledge to form a Student's Council named Bundi Medical Students Association in order to secure to all the members, liberty of thought and expression, to promote fraternity among all the members and to encourage among all members Social, Cultural, Literary and Athletic activities all the while accruing the dignity of the individual and the Institute. In our General Body, from this day of October 1, 2024 we do hereby adopt, enact and pledge our allegiance to this Constitution."

Introduction

This is the constitution for the student executive committee for students of government medical college Bundi named as Bundi medical students association.

Name

The Union shall be called “Bundi Medical Students Association, Government Medical College Bundi” ,with the Dean of the GMC as the Patron.
For all intents and purposes, the student body shall henceforth be referred to as BMSA in the constitution and “Government Medical College Bundi” as the institute.

Aims and Objectives

The Union shall endeavour to foster a spirit of cooperation and comradeship among the members and to promote their social, cultural, athletic, literary and scientific activities.

The BMSA shall strive to live up to the important role students have to play in the development and progress of the institute.
The BMSA shall undertake its responsibility to foster a spirit of cooperation and comradeship among the members and to promote their social, cultural, athletic, literary and scientific activities.
The BMSA shall endeavour to democratise the structure of decision-making concerning the welfare of students.
The BMSA shall strive to maintain the decorum and honour of the institute by propagating dignified and disciplined behaviour among the students.
The BMSA will ensure that the decisions of the government and its bodies are adhered to in letter and in spirit!
The BMSA shall also ensure that the Name and Logo of the College is utilized for the overall benefit of the students and not to meet personal gains.
